In the 1980's, the San Diego Sockers were the best and most successful sport franchise in San Diego history and the most dominant sport franchise in the United States. The team will win a record 10 Indoor World Championships in 11 years.
Leading this fantastic franchise were players, which will then become "Legends" of the sport in San Diego. Names such as Juli Veee, Brian Quinn, Jean Willrich, Gus Mokalis, Zoltan Toth, Cha Cha Namdar, Sean Bowers, George Katakalidis and young talented players such as Raffi Ruotolo, Paul Daugherty, Paul Wright, Anthony Farace and many more.
You will get an opportunity to see many of the Sockers Legends together at the Beach Soccer Jam tournament which will take place on April 29, 2012 at Fiesta Island, San Diego.
